“Closed” Study Locations
The cities listed below are the designated study locations for the Olmsted Scholars Class of 2026. Since the Olmsted Foundation typically does not assign two Scholars to the same city simultaneously, these locations are considered “closed” to applicants for the Class of 2027 (to be selected by the Olmsted Foundation Board of Directors in March 2026). However, only the specific cities listed are restricted—candidates for the Class of 2027 may consider a different city in one of the below listed countries as a study location. Additionally, the Foundation’s Board of Directors does not plan to assign any Class of 2027 Scholars to China, Russia, or Singapore.
