In 2018, Olmsted Scholar Lino Miani (OSC 07, Kuala Lumpur) founded the non-profit Combat Diver Federation (CDF), a 501 (c)(3) public charity whose mission is to preserve the history of the elite combat diver community. Since its inception, the CDF has worked with an array of Special Operations Forces units, the Special Warfare Museum, and private donors to preserve the history and artifacts of the Combat Diver community.
This year, the CDF is growing its board of directors, and will again host its annual fundraiser called the “Deep Dive.” This year’s event, Deep Dive 2020, will take place at the Florida-Bama Lounge in Pensacola, and will further propel CDF toward its ultimate objective of buildling a Combat Diver Museum.
