Olmsted Scholar Nominated for Promotion to Brig Gen by U.S. Air Force

Congratulations to Olmsted Scholar Col. Leonard J. Kosinski (OSC 00, Tokyo), USAF on his nomination for appointment to the rank of brigadier general. Col. Kosinski is currently the director, Commander’s Action Group, Headquarters U.S. Africa Command, Stuttgart-Moehringen, Germany. Kosinski graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy in 1993 and studied at Hitotsubashi University as an Olmsted Scholar where he earned an MBA in 2002. Kosinski earned a Masters of Arts in Law and Diplomacy from Tufts University in 2003 and after further service and command in the USAF, he earned a Ph.D. from Tufts University in 2015 in International Security Studies and International Business Relations.
